Time Kids

Time Kids is located at No.44/3 in Nadackal, right on the New Kolani Bypass in Thodupuzha. This part of Vengallur in Idukki is a good spot because it’s easy for parents to pull over and drop off their toddlers on their way elsewhere. The center is a bright place filled with all the things you’d expect to see for small children. We have shelves full of plastic blocks, puzzles, and some stuffed animals that have seen better days. The floor is covered with soft padding in the play areas so nobody gets hurt if they trip while running around. Every morning follows a similar pattern. The kids arrive, they put their bags in the cubbies, and then they start their day with some singing or group play. We have a small yard where they can go outside when it isn't raining, which happens quite a bit here in Idukki. Inside, the walls are decorated with some basic alphabet charts and some of the kids' own finger paintings. It gets pretty noisy during the midday break when everyone is eating their lunch. We try to keep things organized, but with a group of small kids, there is always a bit of chaos involved. The staff spends their time keeping an eye on everyone and making sure the nap time is relatively quiet so everyone gets some rest. It’s just a local place for the neighborhood kids to stay active. We keep things simple and focus on the daily needs of the children.
