We are located over at the Kinfra Industries Park in Muvattupuzha. Our space is in Commercial Complex No. X/558, right by Nellad Post. Working at Symega Savoury Technology Pvt. Ltd. means dealing with a lot of flavors and ingredients every single day. The lab area is where most of the work happens, though it’s not as sterile-looking as you might see in a movie. It’s a busy place with people in lab coats constantly weighing things out and testing different combinations. Sometimes the whole building smells like spices, and other times it’s something totally different. It’s a bit out of the way from the main town, so it’s quiet outside, which is nice. We have a small canteen where we all eat together. The work can be technical, but we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We don't use a lot of big words or have long meetings about synergy or stuff like that. We just talk about what needs to be blended or which batch needs checking. The equipment can be temperamental sometimes, but our maintenance guy usually fixes it pretty fast. We’ve got shelves full of jars with every kind of extract you can think of. It’s a bit like a giant kitchen but with more scales and clipboards. We just put in our hours, do the tests, and make sure the customers get what they asked for. It's a solid job and we’re happy to be doing it here in Nellad.
