Spices Corner

You can find Spices Corner up in Peermade, in the Azhutha area. This part of the country is known for its hills and the stuff that grows on them. We have a small shop and a workspace where we handle local spices. It isn't a huge operation. Mostly it's just a couple of us who have lived here our whole lives. We spend our time talking to the local growers and sorting through what they bring us. The weather up here in Peermade can be a bit damp, so we have to be really careful about how we store everything. We don't have a big sign or a fancy storefront. Most people just know us because we've been sitting on this corner for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work and keep things simple. Every morning we open up and start the day's tasks. Sometimes that means cleaning the floor, and other times it means weighing out bags of pepper or cardamom.
