Riders Cafe

We set up Riders Cafe up here in Panchalimedu, which is part of the Peruvanthana area. It is a really beautiful part of the country, though the weather can be a bit unpredictable sometimes. We get a lot of people passing through, especially those out for a ride or a drive to see the views. We started this place because we liked the area and wanted a spot where people could just stop for a bit. It’s not a very big cafe, just a simple place where you can sit down and take a break. We handle everything ourselves, from the cooking to the cleaning up at the end of the day. It’s a lot of work, but we enjoy being up here away from the noise of the bigger cities. Sometimes the mist rolls in and you can hardly see the road, but that’s just life in the hills. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone sees our sign or hears about us from a friend who was traveling this way. We like keeping things casual. There’s no dress code or anything like that. Just come as you are. We’ve met a lot of interesting travelers over the months. Every day is a little bit different depending on who stops by. We’re just happy to be here in Peruvanthana, doing our thing and keeping the doors open for whoever needs a rest or a snack.
