Pgkl Foodworks Private Limited

Our place is Pgkl Foodworks Private Limited and we are located at Kollara House. It is right in Kattappana P. O., specifically the Vettikuzhakavala area. Being up here means the weather is usually a bit better than down on the coast, but it gets very damp during the monsoon. We use the space at the house to manage all the food work. It’s a family-run kind of thing, even if the name sounds official. We didn't want a big industrial unit so we kept it here. There is always noise from the kitchen or the packing area during the day. We try to keep things organized but with food stuff, there is always a bit of chaos. Neighbors stop by sometimes to see what we are making. We don't do much advertising because word of mouth usually works for us in a place like Kattappana. The work is mostly manual. We don't have a lot of big automated robots. It’s just hands doing the sorting and bagging. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait. It’s part of living here. We don’t have a big corporate story. We just needed a way to make a living and this food business seemed right. We put in the hours and try to stay honest with what we do. It’s just a small business at a house address, trying to do things the right way. We take our time and don't rush the process more than we have to.
