Lords Spices

We are located at 65 Kumazhi Road in the Thekkadi area. Since we are in this part of the country, spices are a huge part of our daily life. We keep all the usual stuff like black pepper, cardamom, and cinnamon sticks in stock. The smell in the shop is very strong, and you can usually catch a whiff of it from down the street. It is a small shop and we have jars and sacks piled up in almost every corner. We get a few tourists stopping by, but we also have local people who just need something for their evening meal. The air here can be quite damp because of all the trees, which makes the scent of the spices hang even heavier in the room. We do not use any fancy packaging with bright colors or gold trim. Most things are just in clear plastic bags so you can see exactly what you are getting. The wooden shelves are getting a bit old now. We spend many afternoons just weighing out small amounts for people. It is a slow way of living compared to the city. We do not have a website or any online presence. If it starts raining hard, we usually have to pull the shutters down a bit. It is a simple way to make a living and we like being surrounded by these smells every day. There is no rush here.
