Krishna Spices

Our shop is in the Chealackal Complex in Munnar, which is right near the Indian Oil petrol pump in the Idukki district. Being up here in the hills means the air is usually cool and a bit damp, which is great for the spices we handle. Krishna Spices is a straightforward business where we sell the things grown in the surrounding plantations. We have a lot of tea, coffee, and of course, the spices that Munnar is known for. The complex is a familiar landmark for most people who live around here. We spend a lot of time talking to the farmers who bring their goods to us. The shop isn't very large, but it is always full of the deep scents of roasted coffee and fresh pepper. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or corporate language. We just show people what we have on the shelves and let them decide. It gets quite busy during the tourist season when everyone wants to take a bit of Munnar home with them. On rainy days, we sit inside and reorganize the shelves or catch up on our logs. It is a quiet life for the most part, apart from the sound of the cars pulling into the petrol pump next door. We have been part of the Idukki community for a long time and we plan to stay right here in the complex for many more years to come.
