Kerala Black Pepper Trades

Kerala Black Pepper Trades is located at 7899 on the Kottarakkara Highway in Kumily, Thekkady. Being right on the main road means we see a lot of people passing through, but we mostly focus on our own work with the pepper. This part of Kerala is famous for its spices, and we are just one of many small businesses doing our part. We spend our time drying, sorting, and bagging black pepper. It is a very physical job that involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy sacks around. We do not use a lot of fancy machinery here. Most of it is done with basic equipment and a lot of manual labor. The smell of pepper is always around us, and it can be quite sharp on the nose during the harvest season. We are not interested in sounding like a big corporation. We are just local people who know how to handle pepper properly. The highway is always busy with buses and tourists going to the nearby parks, but we just stay focused on what is happening inside our walls. We have built up a good relationship with the local farmers who bring us their crops. It is a simple way of life and we have been doing it this way for a long time without needing to change much.
