Calwin Tourist Home

Calwin Tourist Home is located right opposite the Marayoor Bus Stand. It is a very convenient spot for anyone coming in by bus, as you just have to walk across the street and you are here. We have been running this place for a good few years now. It is a basic building with rooms for people who need a place to sleep for a night or two. We do not offer anything fancy like room service or a swimming pool. It is just a place to rest your head. The rooms are plain, with a bed, a fan, and a bathroom. We spend a lot of our time washing linens and making sure the floors are swept. Marayoor is a beautiful area with all the sandalwood trees around, and we get quite a few people passing through. Since we are right by the bus stand, it can get a bit noisy with the engines and the conductors shouting, but it settles down at night. We are usually at the front desk most of the day. If we are not there, we are probably just in the back getting something organized. We do not have a website or anything like that; people usually just show up and ask if we have a room free. We try to keep the prices fair for the travelers. It is a family-run thing, so you will usually see one of us around. We know the area well.
