S P S Granite

Our place, S P S Granite, is situated right on the Idappadi-Koneripatty Road. We are in the Kamaraj Nagar section of Koneripatti. It’s a very busy road, so there are always trucks and cars zooming past us all day long. The noise is something you just get used to after a while. We have piles of granite slabs stacked up all over the yard. It’s a lot of manual labor, and we don't have any of those fancy machines you see in the big cities. We just use what we have to move the stone. We don’t bother with marketing or anything like that. We just open the gates in the morning and wait to see who stops by. The road can be a bit rough in patches, but it doesn't seem to stop people. Most folks in Koneripatti know us by sight because they see the yard every time they drive toward Idappadi. We have a couple of local guys who help us with the heavy loading when a customer buys something. It’s hot work, especially in the middle of the afternoon when the sun is directly overhead. We usually take a long lunch break then to escape the heat. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. If you need stone, you just come talk to us. We’re usually here until the sun goes down and we get the last slab moved into place.
