Ys Motor Driving School

Ys Motor Driving School is located in Alwal, Hyderabad. Specifically, we're in the 500010 area of Andhra Pradesh, or what people now call Telangana, but we've always just said Andhra Pradesh out of habit. We have a small office where we handle the paperwork for licenses and schedules. Most of our work happens out on the roads, obviously. We have a few cars that we use, and they aren't brand new, but they run fine and have the extra pedals for safety. Teaching someone to drive is a slow process, and we spend a lot of time sitting in traffic around Alwal. It can be a bit stressful when a student stalls the engine at a busy intersection, but we just stay calm and keep going. We've been doing this for years. The sun can be quite brutal in Hyderabad, so we always have hats and water bottles in the cars. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the local roads like the back of our hands. We try to be patient because everyone is nervous at first. The office at Alwal is usually a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we keep the files in order. It’s a simple business. We teach you how to shift gears and watch the mirrors so you don't get into trouble. People usually find us by seeing our cars driving around the neighborhood with the big "L" signs.
