Yellow Rice Foods is tucked away in Green Hills Colony, Kothapet. We are in Vijaya Maruthi Flora, up on the fourth floor in flat 404. It is a quiet enough area, though Kothapet itself is always bustling with people. We started this because we saw a gap for the kind of food we actually like to eat ourselves. It is not a massive operation. We mostly work out of our space on Road No 3. Some days it feels like we are just catching our breath between different orders. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a big neon sign out front. It is just a small team of us. We spend our time checking ingredients and making sure the packing is done right. The Saroornagar area has been our home for a long time, so it made sense to set up the business here. We don't spend any money on big advertisements or marketing people. Word of mouth usually does the trick for us anyway. It is a bit messy sometimes, with crates and bags sitting around, but that is just how it goes when you are actually making things. We use the address in Green Hills for everything. It is where the heart of the business is. We are just regular people trying to run a decent food business without making it overly complicated or expensive for people. We focus on the food and let the rest take care of itself.
