Yashoda Hospitals

Yashoda Hospitals has this specific section that deals with a lot of orthopedic and rehab stuff. It’s led by folks with degrees in things like M.S. (Ortho) and DNB in Rehab, and some even spent time learning over in France. We do a lot of joint replacements here, which means we see a lot of people who are having a hard time walking or moving around like they used to. It's a bit different from the general hospital floors because it's a lot about getting people back on their feet. You’ll see people doing their physical therapy, trying to get their strength back after surgery. It takes a lot of patience from both the staff and the patients. The rooms are set up for recovery, and we have the gear needed for all that rehab work. It’s not just about the surgery itself, but what happens in the weeks after. We talk to families a lot about what to do when they get home. The hallway can be a bit noisy with the sounds of equipment and people moving around, but that's just part of the process. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just about fixing bones and helping people move better. We’ve been at this for a while now and we see a lot of the same faces coming back for their follow-up appointments. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be doing it here.
