Yashoda Hospitals

Somajiguda is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it. Our building stands there amongst all the other shops and offices, taking in the daily grind of the city. If you’ve ever walked down these streets, you know how the traffic sounds never really stop. Inside our walls, it’s a bit of a different world, though it’s still just as active. We have nurses and assistants constantly moving between the rooms, carrying charts and checking on things. The floors are worn down in spots from all the walking people do every day. We don’t have a fancy reception with leather chairs; it’s mostly just plastic seats and a lot of clipboards. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows shut against the dust and noise. Working here means you get used to the fast pace. We don't have time for corporate talk or long meetings about goals. We just look at what needs to be done today and we do it. Whether it's sorting out the records or cleaning up a spill in the corridor, everyone chips in. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Some of our staff have been here for years and they know exactly how the old plumbing works and which light switches are a bit finicky. It’s a lived-in space that serves the people of Somajiguda as best as it can.
