Noorkhabazar is a place with a lot of soul, and that is where we are based. Our address is 22-2-700/8 in Rajatan Colony. It’s a lively neighborhood. Something is always happening on the street. The buildings are close together. You can hear the neighbors talking. You hear music playing from the shops nearby. We’ve been at this location for some time now. It’s not a fancy place. The floors are a bit worn. The furniture is old. But it’s comfortable. We don't have a big corporate structure. It is mostly just a few of us. We care about the local community. We wanted to provide a place for people to come. In Noorkhabazar, things are very personal. We know the people who live around us. They know what we do. We don't bother with marketing. We don't try to sound like a big deal. We just open the doors every day. We handle whatever comes up. Sometimes it’s a bit disorganized. There’s always a lot of noise from the street. But we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It’s a very real, human way to run the Welcare India Social Welfare Foundation. We focus on the welfare of the people here. We do it in a way that feels natural to us. It’s just our way of life. When the rainy season comes, we all have to watch out for the puddles in the alleyway.
