Our shop, Vlb Alloy Steels, is tucked into Shop No 2-84 along Pipeline Road. Fathe Nagar is a busy part of town, and there's always something going on right outside our door. We’ve got a lot of metal sitting around most of the time, which is just the nature of the business we are in. It’s a bit cramped in here sometimes because of all the stock we keep, but we manage to make it work. Working with alloy steels means dealing with heavy stuff all day long. We’ve got a small crew and we’ve all been doing this together for a while now. Pipeline Road can be a bit of a nightmare during the morning rush hour, so we try to get our deliveries sorted out early before it gets too bad. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer phones professionally. It's just a few of us making sure the orders are right. Most people who come here are looking for something very specific, and we do what we can to find it in the stacks. It gets pretty dusty, and the noise from the street is always there, but you get used to it after a week or two on the job. We’ve been in this unit for years and know every corner of the place. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do well and we just keep at it.
