Vishwakarma Community Foundation

We are located in Chikadpally, which is a very old and established part of Hyderabad. Our address is 1-8-115/3 on Street No 10. Musheerabad is right there as well. It’s a very central spot with lots of history. The streets are narrow and can get crowded with scooters. Our building is one of those older structures. It has a lot of character. The stairs are a bit steep. We’ve been here for a while. The neighborhood knows us well. It’s a community-focused area. You can always hear the sounds of the city. We don't have a lobby. People just come in and find a place to sit. Most of our work involves talking to people face-to-face. We drink a lot of tea while we work. We get it from the stall at the corner. The air is always full of the smell of cooking. It’s a bit chaotic sometimes, but that’s just how Chikadpally is. We don't try to polish things up. We are just a local group. We manage things for the community in our own way under the name Vishwakarma Community Foundation. It’s honest work. We like being in the thick of it. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to do. The streets are finally quiet then. It's a good time to think. We usually have a small radio playing some old songs in the background while we sort through the day's mail.
