Visakhapatnam Steel Plant

Being near the Satyam Theater in Ameerpet means that our Hyderabad office is always surrounded by crowds and noise. We are based in Room 107 of the J.G. Executive Hostel on Shivbhag Road. It is a very different environment compared to the actual plant back in Visakhapatnam. Here, the focus is on administration and coordination for the people passing through or staying at the hostel. The room itself is pretty small and usually filled to the ceiling with files, old computers, and logbooks. It is not a fancy corporate headquarters by any stretch of the imagination. We have got a couple of desks shoved into the corners and the walls are a bit scuffed up from years of use. Most of the people who come by are just employees or contractors who need to sign some papers or check on a work schedule. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to messages from the other branches. Being in Ameerpet is convenient for catching a bus, but it can be a bit overwhelming with all the people on the street. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks. It is a simple, practical setup that works for what we need to do in this part of the city. We do not have a big sign outside, so you really have to look for the address in the building.
