Vijay Krishna Enterprises

You can find Vijay Krishna Enterprises over at 8-1-99, Praful Bhavan in Shivaji Nagar. It is an older building, and we have been here for a good stretch of time now. The staircase up to our floor can be a bit steep, and the paint is peeling in a few corners, but it is a place where work actually happens. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. There is no glass front or a receptionist with a headset. Usually, someone is just sitting at a desk piled high with ledger books and receipts. Shivaji Nagar is a lively area, so there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside our windows. It makes it hard to focus sometimes, but it’s the energy of the place. We do our best to stay on top of the orders and make sure people get what they asked for. Sometimes we run out of space and have to pile stuff in the hallway, which makes the landlord a bit grumpy, but we clear it out as soon as we can. We are just regular people trying to run a business without making things too complicated. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time talking to folks who come in through the door. It’s a simple way to spend the day, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep plugging along.
