Venkateshwara Kirana Shop

We are located at Shop No 4-8-594 in Gowli Guda. If you know the area, we are quite near to CBS in Hyderabad 500012. Being near the bus station means the area is always moving and there are people from all over passing by. Venkateshwara Kirana Shop is a small, busy place. We don't have a lot of room, so we use every inch of the walls for shelving. I’ve been running this shop for a long time, and the routine is always the same. I get here early to open the shutters and start arranging the fresh stock. It gets dusty because of all the buses and cars nearby, so I’m always wiping things down. Most of our customers are locals who have been living in Gowli Guda for years. They come in for their daily tea leaves or some snacks for the kids. It’s not a fancy shop with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have the basics that everyone needs. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when too many people come in at once, but we manage. I like the noise of the city and being right in the middle of it. The shop is my second home, and I know where every single jar of pickles is kept. It is just a plain, simple business where we do our best to stay stocked up for the day. My family helps out when it gets really crowded in the evenings. We just keep going until closing time.
