Venkadesh Store

Our store, Venkadesh Store, is at 897, Malkajgiri Road, right in the Safilguda area. It is a busy spot because of the traffic coming through Malkajgiri. We have a bit of everything on the shelves. It is mostly stuff people need for their kitchens or homes. The building is an older one, and the shutters are a bit rusty and hard to pull up in the morning. We spend a lot of time just rearranging things so everything fits on the shelves. It is a bit of a squeeze, but we make it work. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when things are quiet, but that does not happen often. Most of the time, we are weighing out items or bagging things up for people. The Safilguda area has changed a lot over the years, but our store stays pretty much the same. We do not have a computer system, so we do all the math in our heads or on a small notepad. Sometimes we get the change wrong and have to fix it, but our customers are patient and know us well. It is a friendly place. We do not have any fancy signs, just the name painted above the door. It is enough for people to find us. We just keep the doors open and wait for the regulars to stop by for their daily supplies.
