Uttaradhi Stores

My family started Uttaradhi Stores back when this part of Kachiguda looked a lot different than it does now. We are located right at 67-23/92 in Chappal Bazar, which is a place that stays busy from morning until late at night. It is a small place, really packed with all sorts of things people need for their daily cooking and household tasks. Some days the shelves are a bit messy because we just got a big delivery from the suppliers and haven't had enough time to stack every single thing perfectly yet. We try to keep things simple here. If you come by, you will probably see one of us behind the counter or maybe moving some heavy bags around in the back. It is definitely not a fancy supermarket with bright lights, fancy floor tiles, and cold air conditioning. It is just a regular, honest shop where neighbors come to pick up their lentils, rice, or spices. Sometimes people stand around and talk for a bit too long and end up blocking the doorway, but that is just how life is in this neighborhood. We know most of the regulars by their names now. It is a lot of hard work keeping up with what everyone wants, especially when the weather gets very hot and the street outside gets incredibly crowded with shoppers. We do not have a big team, just a few of us making sure the stock is fresh and the prices are okay. We usually open up early.
