Uttam Metals

Uttam Metals is located at Dr.No. 4-2-257/1 on Mahakali Street. We are right in the heart of Raniganj. It’s an old part of town and the streets are quite narrow, so it can get very crowded with people and delivery carts. Our shop has been here for a long time. It’s not a polished or modern place. The floors are concrete and they have some cracks from years of use. We have metal everywhere, as you might expect from the name. It’s a bit noisy because of the work and the traffic outside, but we don't mind it much anymore. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing plan. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes in. Most of our customers are locals or people who have been dealing with us for decades. We do our calculations on paper and keep our records in big ledgers. It’s a simple way of running things. We don't have fancy chairs or air conditioning. We just use the ceiling fans to keep the air moving when it gets hot. Raniganj is a busy place, and we are just one small part of the life on Mahakali Street. We don't try to sound bigger than we are. We just do our work and keep things honest. It’s a humble setup, but it has served us well for a very long time now.
