Umme Zaffer Foundation

Our foundation, the Umme Zaffer Foundation, is based at House Number 20-4-232 in Khilwath Mubarak. It is an old area, and our building fits right in with the rest of the houses. We don't have a big fancy sign. Just the house number on the wall. The streets around here can be pretty narrow and crowded, especially during the middle of the day when everyone is out. We’ve been here for a long time, and we like being part of the local scene. Our office is just a few rooms inside the house. It’s where we keep all our files and do our work. It isn't air-conditioned, so we use fans and keep the windows open when it isn't too hot or dusty outside. It feels more like a home than a place of business. We spend our days answering phones, writing letters, and talking to people from the area. We don't have a lot of staff, just a handful of us who live nearby. If you come to visit, you'll probably find us sitting around the main table with some tea. We don't go in for big presentations or corporate talk. We just do our work and try to keep things moving. It’s a very local operation. Khilwath Mubarak is a place with a lot of history, and we're just glad to be a small part of it. The neighbors are friendly and we often see them when we step out for lunch.
