Uday Kiran

The shop is right here in Mehdipatnam, just a few steps away from that Andhra Bank ATM in Karwan. It’s been sitting in this spot for a good while now. Most days it’s pretty noisy outside with all the traffic and people rushing around. I usually get here early to open up and start moving things around so people can see what we have. It’s not a huge place, but we try to keep it packed with the stuff folks around here actually use. You see the same faces every day, people coming home from work or stopping by after they get some cash from the ATM next door. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with the road right there, but we try to keep it clean enough. Running a place like Uday Kiran isn’t anything fancy. It’s just about being here when someone needs something. The fans hum all day and the light isn’t always the brightest in the back corners, but we know where everything is kept. If someone asks for something specific, I usually have to dig around a bit under the counter or on the top shelves. It’s just how things go in a neighborhood shop like this. There’s no big team or anything, just us keeping the doors open and making sure the inventory stays full. It’s a simple way to spend the day, honestly.
