Traniee

We are over at Plot No-116 in Saibabanagar, which is quite close to Padmanagar Phase-II in the Chintal area of Hyderabad. It is a residential plot, so it feels very much like a home. There is a small gate and a bit of a yard out front. Most of the work happens inside one of the main rooms where we have set up some tables. Since this is a trainee position, there is a lot of listening and watching how things are done. Chintal is a busy part of Hyderabad, but our street is tucked away enough that it stays relatively quiet. We don't have a big reception desk or a lobby. You just walk in and someone is usually there to say hello. The dust from the road sometimes gets inside, so we are always wiping down the tables. We have a computer that we share and a lot of notebooks filled with sketches and instructions. It is a bit disorganized at times, with papers lying around, but we know where everything is. Lunch is usually brought from home and we eat together in the kitchen area. It is a very informal atmosphere. We are just trying to learn the business and get things right. There is no pressure to look fancy for clients because we don't get many visitors. It is just a place to work and learn. Most of the people around here are families, so it is a nice environment.
