Opal Educational Academy

Our academy is located right in Quli Qutub Shah Colony, along Seven Tombs Road. It’s a pretty distinct area because of the history nearby. We’ve got a couple of floors where the kids come to learn and hang out. It’s never quiet here, especially when classes are letting out and everyone is shouting in the hallways. We have desks that have seen better days and walls covered in charts and student drawings. It’s not one of those high-tech schools you see on TV; we’re just a local place trying to help the kids in the neighborhood get their lessons right. I spend a lot of my time talking to parents at the gate or making sure the teachers have enough chalk and paper. The traffic on Seven Tombs Road can get a bit loud, but the students don't seem to mind. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just teach the subjects and try to make sure everyone understands what’s in the books. Some days are stressful when exams are coming up, and other days are just about managing the noise. We’ve been part of this colony for a while, and most families around here know us. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to see the local kids do a bit better for themselves. The building is a bit cramped, but it feels like home to us.
