Tirupati Tube Corporation is situated at 5-1-373 in Old Ghasmandi, Ranigunj. If you’ve been to Ranigunj, you know it’s one of the oldest and busiest trading areas. We deal in all sorts of tubes and pipes. Our warehouse is basically a long room filled with stacks of metal tubes of different sizes. It’s not a pretty sight, just a lot of iron and steel. The air in Ghasmandi is always full of noise from the neighboring shops and the carts moving goods around. We don't have a showroom. Customers come in, tell us what they need, and we pull it from the stacks. It’s heavy work and can be quite tiring. We use a simple ledger for all our records. There isn't much room for a proper office, so we just have a small wooden desk near the entrance where we sit. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept. Sometimes it’s hard to move around when a new shipment arrives and takes up the floor space. We’ve been operating from this same spot for quite a while. We don't do any marketing or have a website. People in the trade just know our address in Old Ghasmandi. It’s a traditional way of doing business. We open early in the morning and stay until the last order is loaded onto the trucks. It’s just a plain, hardworking shop in a very old part of town. That is how we do it.
