Tirumala Steel Corporation

Our yard is located near the Yellamma Temple in Balkampet, which is a place most people around here can find easily. We have been at this address, 7-1-237/11/12, for a long time. Dealing with steel is what we do every day. It is heavy, dusty work, and the yard is usually full of rods and sheets. We don't have a polished showroom because we don't really need one. Most of our time is spent loading trucks or cutting metal to size for local builders. The mornings are usually the busiest time when the deliveries go out. During the festival days at the temple, the street gets very crowded, and we have to be careful with the big vehicles. It is a family business, so there is no corporate hierarchy or anything like that. We just do the work that comes in. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains on the open stock, but we manage. You will usually find us in our working clothes, not sitting behind a desk. We know the other shop owners on this lane quite well. It is a busy, working-class neighborhood and we fit right in. We don't use fancy marketing. If someone needs steel for a small house project or a bigger job, they usually just walk in and ask us. We keep things honest and simple.
