The Deccan Packaging Systems

We operate The Deccan Packaging Systems out of Phase II in the Cherlapally IDA. Our unit is number 63. If you’ve ever been to the industrial area here, you know it’s a lot of warehouses and factories. We fit right in. We deal with packaging systems, which basically means we help other businesses get their products ready to ship. It’s a lot of machinery and rolls of material everywhere. The office is just a small corner of the building where we keep the paperwork. Most of the action happens on the floor. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We are usually in work clothes because things can get a bit dusty. We’ve been in Cherlapally for quite some time now. We like it here because all the suppliers are nearby. It’s a very practical location for what we do. We don't really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, a customer just calls us up or drops by to talk about a specific machine or a problem they are having with their packing line. We figure it out and move on to the next thing. It’s honest, industrial work. We don't have a big marketing budget, we just rely on the fact that we've been here for years and people know we do our job. It's a busy life, but it suits us well enough.
