The Deccan Hospital

The Deccan Hospital is located at 3-6-903/A & B in Somajiguda. We are right opposite Yashoda Hospital, which makes it easier for people to find us, though the traffic around here can be a real headache most afternoons. Somajiguda is always moving, and we are right in the middle of all that noise. Our building has been here for quite some time now and has its own character. We have doctors coming in and out at all hours, and nurses who have been working with us for years. It’s a busy environment where the phones don't seem to stop ringing and someone is always asking for directions to a specific room or ward. We try our best to keep the hallways clear, but with so many visitors, it's a constant job. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest place in Hyderabad. We just provide a spot for people to get treated when they aren't feeling well. The front desk staff knows a lot of the regulars by their first names. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold in the lobby, and other times the parking lot is completely full, but that is just part of running a hospital in this part of town. We deal with emergencies and routine stuff every day. It is a lot of hard work, but the staff is used to it. We just take it one person at a time and keep moving.
