Thanush Men

Thanush Men is just a small place located at SRT: 229 on Street number 7 in Ashok Nagar. We are right near Prajaa Sai Hospital, so it is easy to find if you know that area of Hyderabad. It’s not a fancy place with lots of decorations, just a regular spot where men from the neighborhood come to get their hair cut or a shave. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the hospital or just walking through the colony. We open up early in the morning, sweep the floor, and get the chairs ready for the day. You can hear the traffic and the sounds from the street all day long. Sometimes the hospital staff comes in when they have a break. We’ve been here for a while now and most of our customers are folks who live right around the corner. We use standard chairs and have mirrors all along the wall, nothing too special but it does the job. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but the fans keep things moving. We don't have a big sign, just enough so you know where we are. Mostly, it is just about getting your work done and having a bit of a chat with the regulars while the radio plays in the background. It is a simple life here on Street 7, just keeping things steady and seeing the same faces most weeks.
