Tewhima Permaculture Foundation

Tewhima Permaculture Foundation is located in Flat No 502 at BjrResidency in Himayat Nagar. We are right on Street Number 2. It might seem a bit odd to have a permaculture foundation in an apartment building, but we make it work. We use our space to plan out projects and talk about sustainable ways of living and growing food. Even though we are in the middle of a busy neighborhood like Himayat Nagar, we try to keep things green where we can. Sometimes we have seeds or small plants sitting by the window in the office. It’s a small operation, just a few of us who really care about how we treat the land. We spend a lot of our time researching or talking to farmers and gardeners who want to try something different. The office is a bit crowded with books and maps, but it’s a comfortable place to work. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, if you come by, you’ll just find us sitting around the main table drinking tea and going over plans. We aren't trying to sell anyone anything. We just want to share what we know about permaculture and help people get started with their own projects. It’s a simple way to spend the day. We are just regular people who enjoy being around nature and plants.
