Tarnaka Driving School

You can find our office at Street Number 7 in Tarnaka, right across from the Innova Hospital. It’s a small shop, labeled as Shop Number 1, so it’s easy to spot if you’re looking for it. We spend most of our time out on the roads rather than sitting in the office. Teaching people how to drive in Hyderabad traffic is quite a task, as anyone who lives here knows. We have a few cars that we use for the lessons, and we try to keep them in good condition despite all the gear shifting and sudden braking from new learners. We’ve seen all kinds of students, from nervous teenagers to older folks who finally decided they wanted to learn. The paperwork for licenses can be a bit of a slow process sometimes, but we help people through it as best as we can. It’s a lot of sitting in the passenger seat and keeping a close eye on the mirrors. We don't have any fancy simulators; we just get straight onto the local streets so people can learn for real. On hot days, the AC in the cars is our best friend. We usually start early in the morning before the traffic gets too heavy. It’s a simple business, really. We just want to make sure people know how to handle a car safely before they get their own. We've been in this same spot in Tarnaka for quite some time now and plan to stay for a while.
