Swathi Degree College

The college is located at H. No. 19-1-721/1/1 in Maharajgunj. We are right by Dood Bowli in Hyderabad. It is a neighborhood that has been around forever. Our building isn't a massive campus like the new ones you see outside the city. It’s more of a local place for students to come and get their degrees. We have classrooms and a small area for the staff. Most of the kids who come here live nearby or take the bus into Maharajgunj. It gets loud during the breaks when everyone is out in the halls. We don't have big flashy billboards. We just focus on the classes and making sure the exams get done on time. The staff here are mostly local people too. We have been operating out of this building for a long time. It can get a bit hot in the summer months, but we have fans in every room. Parents usually come by to talk about their kids' progress. We keep things pretty informal. There isn't a lot of bureaucracy, just the regular paperwork for the university. It’s a practical place to study without a lot of the extra stuff you don't really need. We just try to help the students get through their courses and graduate. The street outside is always bustling with people and markets, which gives the place a lot of life for the students.
