Swastik Kirana & General Store

Swastik Kirana & General Store is situated on Mahakali Temple Street in Ramkote. We are not very far from the Inox cinema in Kachiguda, so there is always a lot of movement in this part of Hyderabad. Our shop has been here for years, and we have become a small part of the daily routine for many people living nearby. We sell all the regular kirana items you would expect, like different types of rice, spices, lentils, and household cleaning products. The shop is quite small and the shelves are usually overflowing with stock. We have to use every inch of space, even stacking things on the floor sometimes. When the temple nearby has a festival, the whole street gets packed with people, and our shop gets very busy. It is a lot of work during those times, but we enjoy the energy. We start our day early, usually before the sun is fully up, to get things ready for the morning rush. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy bags and boxes around, but it keeps us fit. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the people in Ramkote can get their groceries easily. We know our customers well and often stop to have a quick chat while we are weighing out their orders. It is a simple, honest business and we are happy to be here.
