Swastik Impex

Swastik Impex is the name of our firm and our place is right on the Main Road in Pan Mandi. If you know Gosha Mahal, you know how crowded it gets. We are at number 501, right opposite where the Prakash Road Lines trucks park. It’s always a bit of a squeeze getting through the traffic in the mornings. Being an impex business, there’s always paperwork and boxes moving around. The building isn’t the newest, but it works for what we do. You can hear the horns honking from the street all day long. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs when things get a bit slow. There’s a lot of traders around here, so you see the same faces every day. We handle a lot of different things coming in and out. It’s not a quiet office by any means. There’s always someone shouting across the room or a delivery guy looking for a signature. We just try to keep things organized so nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, but we have some fans going. Most of us have been working in this area for years. You get a feel for the rhythm of the market. It’s a lot of hard work and staying on top of the orders. We don't really do anything flashy. Just trading and making sure the goods get where they need to go from our little spot on the main road. It works for us.
