Svaka Foundation

Svaka Foundation is located right at Villa No. 17 in the Open Skies area of Kokapet. It is not a big corporate office with glass doors; it is just a regular villa where we do our daily work. We started this because we wanted to have a home base for our community efforts. Most days, you will find a couple of us sitting around the dining table with laptops and a lot of papers. We don’t have a fancy receptionist or a lobby for people to wait in. If you stop by, you might hear the neighbor’s dog barking or see us dealing with the usual house stuff like a leaky tap or a slow internet connection. It is a quiet neighborhood, which is good for thinking, but the traffic near Kokapet can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We chose this spot because it feels grounded and real. We don't have a big marketing budget, so our sign is pretty small. We just focus on what needs to be done each day. Sometimes we stay late and order food from the local places nearby. It is a simple setup, but it works for what we are trying to do. We prefer it this way because it keeps us connected to the neighborhood. There is always a lot of paperwork to sort through, and we try our best to stay organized despite the limited space. We’re just regular people working from a house.
