S.V. Fabrications

We have been working out of this shop in S.V. Nagar for a while now. It is Shop No. 1-16/116/6/1, right near the government school in Mallapur. You can usually hear the sound of the grinder from down the street before you even see the sign. It is a busy area, especially when the kids are heading to school or coming home in the afternoon. Inside the shop, it is mostly just piles of iron rods and sheets of metal waiting to be cut. We do a lot of window grills and gate work, so there is always a lot of welding going on. The walls are stained with smoke and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep it. It is just part of the job. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit and wait, which is frustrating when you have a deadline. My back usually aches by five o'clock from lifting the heavy frames. We don't do much in terms of advertising; people just see us working when they walk by. Mallapur is a decent place to work, even if the road gets muddy when it rains. We keep the machines oiled and try to get through the pile of work on the bench. It is steady work, nothing fancy about it. Just cutting, welding, and grinding until the sun goes down.
