Sunshine Hospitals

This hospital is on Penderghast Road, right opposite the Parsi Dharamsala and behind the Paradise Hotel. It’s a very specific location, so we tell people to look for the hotel as a landmark. The hospital stays very busy at all hours of the day and night. We have many different departments all in one building. The staff works in shifts so there is always someone available to help a patient. It’s not a quiet environment, especially in the mornings when everyone arrives for their appointments. There are some benches outside where people sit and wait for their family or a ride home. Inside, the floors are hard and the place usually smells like soap and disinfectant. We try to be helpful when people aren’t sure where they are supposed to go. It can be a little confusing if it’s your first time here. We do surgeries, regular checkups, and help people who come in with emergencies. The doctors are often in a rush, but they try to explain the situation to the families in a way that makes sense. We’ve been located behind the Paradise Hotel for a long time now. We aren't worried about having the most modern building in the city. We just want to make sure our machines work and the people staying with us are cared for. It’s a solid place for anyone in the area who needs medical attention and doesn't want to travel far.
