Sum Architecture & Interiors

You can find us on the 3rd floor of Shri Krishna Apartment, right on Road No-6 in Banjara Hills. We’re directly across from the Raison Blue Hotel. Sum Architecture & Interiors isn’t one of those massive firms with hundreds of employees. It is a smaller setup in Unit.No.A-2 where we focus on one project at a time. The office is usually full of rolls of paper and fabric samples. Sometimes it feels a bit cluttered, but that is just how we work. We spend a lot of time staring at screens or sketching out ideas. Banjara Hills is a busy part of town, so there is always something happening outside the window. We have been here for a bit now and have grown to like the neighborhood rhythm. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act more important than we are. When someone comes in with an idea for their home, we just listen and see what is possible. It is a lot of back and forth until the plan looks right. We handle both the big structural stuff and the smaller details inside. It is a lot of responsibility, but we enjoy the challenge of making a space work better. We aren't polished salespeople. We are just people who like building things and making interiors look decent. It is a quiet office most days, unless we are arguing over a specific design detail that we need to get right.
