Being over here at 34/21 in Jubilee Hills, things can get pretty fast. Star Grocer isn't some giant supermarket with a thousand employees. It is just our shop where we keep the shelves filled with what people actually use every day. We open early because the morning crowd likes to get their things before the traffic really starts to build up on the main roads. It gets quite noisy outside sometimes, but inside we just focus on the inventory. We have had the same people working the counter for a while now. They know where everything is, even if the floor gets a bit cluttered when the new crates arrive on Tuesday mornings. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look like a magazine. It is a grocery store, so there are boxes and bags everywhere. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just use torches until it comes back on. We know most of the faces that walk through the door. It is nice when someone asks about your family while they are buying bread or milk. We just try to keep the staples in stock so nobody has to go too far to find what they need for dinner. It's a lot of lifting and counting, but it keeps us busy. Jubilee Hills has changed a lot, but we are still right here.
