Standard Kirana & General Store

Standard Kirana & General Store is situated at the Guddi Malkapur X Road. We are in the Mehdipatnam and Attapur area of Hyderabad. It’s a very busy crossing and there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside. We carry all the regular grocery items like rice, oils, soaps, and cleaning supplies. The store is quite small and we have to stack the bags and boxes high up to the ceiling to make everything fit. It can be a bit of a squeeze when there are a few customers inside at once. We’ve been serving this neighborhood for many years now. Most of our customers come from the nearby houses and they know us by name. We don’t have any modern systems, just a simple way of doing things. Sometimes we have to go into the back to find something specific that a customer wants. The evenings are our busiest time because everyone is coming home from their jobs. We stay open quite late to make sure people can get what they need. It’s a lot of hard work and we are often tired by the end of the day. But we have been doing this for a long time and it is what we know. We aren’t trying to be a big supermarket, just a local store that people can depend on for their daily needs.
