St Anns College For Women

St Anns College For Women is located in Malkajgiri, Hyderabad. Our address is simply Malkajgiri, and we fall under the 500001 pincode, which is right in the thick of things. Hyderabad is a massive city, and Malkajgiri is a particularly busy suburb, so there is always a lot of movement around the college gates. The building itself has several floors and has seen many groups of students pass through its halls over the years. Being an all-women's college, we have a specific environment here that is quite focused and usually pretty busy with different activities. We have labs, a library, and plenty of classrooms that are almost always full. The staff room is usually a mess of papers and tea cups, especially during the exam season. We hear the sounds of the city and the nearby railway lines throughout the day, which is just part of being in this area. Many of the girls travel from different parts of Hyderabad to get here, so the mornings are a rush of people coming in from the bus stops and the station. We don't have much of a fancy setup, just the usual college rooms and some corridors where the students hang out between their lectures. It is a place with a lot of history, and we just keep it running day after day. It’s a lot of work, but we are used to the pace. Sometimes the water taps in the washrooms act up, or we run out of chalk, but we just deal with it as it comes and keep the classes going.
