We work as associates and that means we spend a lot of time with clients and legal documents. The office is filled with the smell of old paper and the sound of printers going off. It’s a bit cramped because we have so many files stored away but we know where everything is. Clients come in and out all day long to talk about their cases or get some advice on paperwork. We don't really have a big fancy lobby. It’s just a place to sit and wait until we’re ready to talk. The staff here has been together for a while so we’re used to each other’s habits. Sometimes we grab lunch at the small stalls nearby when we’re too busy to go far. It’s hard work and the hours can be long especially when a deadline is coming up.
