Srinivasa Spares

To get to us you have to come to the Lolakpuri Complex in Ranigunj and head up to the first floor. We are in Shop No. 14 inside Balarm Chambers which is Door No. 5-5-101 if you are looking at the official numbers on the street. Srinivasa Spares is basically a maze of shelves filled with small boxes and metal parts. It can be a bit dusty because of all the stock we keep but we try to keep it organized in our own way. Ranigunj is a very busy area for this kind of thing so there is always someone coming up the stairs asking for a specific bolt or a seal. The air upstairs doesn't move much so we keep the fans going all day. Sometimes we have to spend hours just counting items to make sure the records are right. It is not the most exciting work but it is what we do. We have been in this complex for a good while and we know most of the other shop owners around here. We often share some tea or talk about how business is going during the slow hours in the afternoon. The building is a bit older and the stairs can be steep if you are carrying something heavy. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit around so mostly it is just standing at the counter and helping whoever walks in. It is just a regular parts shop really.
