Srinivasa Electrical Engineering Works, Hyderabad

We've been running Srinivasa Electrical Engineering Works out of Phase 4 in Ida Cherlapally for a good while now. It's a busy spot in Hyderabad and we're usually right in the middle of some electrical job or another. Most days you'll find us over at Plot No. 22 working on whatever has come through the door. It gets quite loud and dusty here, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with engineering stuff. We handle a lot of different electrical pieces and parts. Sometimes people come by because they heard about us from a neighbor, and other times they just see the sign while driving through the industrial area. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning everywhere; it's mostly just the workshop floor where the real work happens. It’s a practical setup. If you walk in, you’ll probably see a few of us covered in grease or holding a multimeter. Hyderabad can get really hot in the summers, which makes the work a bit harder, but we keep going. We've seen the area change quite a bit over the years. The roads are a bit better now than they used to be, though traffic is still a bit of a headache. We just stick to what we know, which is fixing and putting things together. It’s not a complicated business. We open up in the morning, do the repairs or the assembly work, and head home when it's done. Sometimes the orders are small and sometimes they are big, but we treat them about the same. That’s pretty much the daily routine for us here in Cherlapally.
