Sri Satya Sai Fancy And Stationery Store

I’ve been working at Sri Satya Sai Fancy and Stationery Store for a while now. We are located on Road No. 12 in the Banjara area. It’s a small shop but we cram a lot of stuff onto the shelves. We have everything from pens and notebooks to little trinkets and hair clips. The school kids come in during the afternoons and the place gets really crowded and noisy for an hour or two. They are always looking for specific colored pencils or a certain type of paper for their projects. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stacks of notebooks get a little leaning. There is a small fan behind the counter that hums all day long and helps keep the heat away. The lighting is a bit yellow and makes the shop feel cozy in the evenings. We spend a lot of time dusting the shelves because the road outside is quite busy and brings in a lot of grit. We have a small stool behind the counter but I mostly stay on my feet to help people find what they need. Road 12 has a lot of traffic and sometimes it’s hard for people to find a place to park nearby. It’s a local kind of place where we see the same faces every week. We don't do anything fancy, just selling basic things that people need for school.
