Sri Sai Ram Kirana & General Store

Our store is located in Srinivas Nagar, which is part of the Musheerabad area in Hyderabad. It’s a typical kirana shop where we keep all the basic household stuff. We have been here for a good number of years. The neighborhood is quite old and has a lot of families who have lived here for generations. We know most of them by name. The shop is usually busy in the evenings when people are coming home from work and realize they need something for dinner. We stock things like lentils, spices, soaps, and snacks. It’s a small family business, so there isn’t any corporate feel to it. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, which they are. Sometimes the kids come in for a piece of candy after school. We try to keep everything organized, but with so many small items, it can be a bit of a challenge. Hyderabad gets pretty hot, so we try to keep the shop cool enough for people to browse for a minute. We don't do anything fancy, just standard retail work. If someone needs something specific, we try to see if we can get it for them. It’s a simple life running a store in Musheerabad. We are just here every day, making sure the shelves are full and the customers are looked after. We just keep showing up every morning to do our bit and keep things running in this corner of the city.
