Sri Sai Kirana Stores

We’ve been running Sri Sai Kirana Stores for some time now in Talla Basthi. It’s a busy little corner near Pragatools here in Kavadiguda. Most mornings start pretty early, around 7 or so, just getting the shutters up and seeing who needs milk or bread before work starts. Hyderabad is always moving fast but around our part of the neighborhood, things feel a bit more familiar. We know most of the faces that walk through the door because they live right around the corner. It is a simple place, honestly. We have the usual things people need for their kitchens, like dal, rice, and different soaps. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when kids come by after school for snacks, but we manage. The shop isn't fancy or anything like that. We just keep the shelves filled as much as we can and try to make sure we don't run out of the basics. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to shuffle boxes around in the back, which is a bit of a headache. Dealing with the heat in the summers is another thing, but the fan keeps us going. People stop by to chat about the weather or whatever is happening in the street while they wait for their change. It’s just how we do things here. We don’t have any big corporate plans, just staying open and helping the people who live nearby in Hyderabad. It is what it is, and we just keep at it.
